Bedtime Drinks Lose Weight

Trying to lose weight can be discouraging especially when you’re yet to see any result. That’s why I don’t try so hard so I don’t get overwhelmed and feel bad that I didn’t achieve my body goals  (that’s if I set any). I simply pledge to simple tips or any lazy hack for girls with a guaranteed result that I can gradually match into my daily life routine.

To me, weight loss should be done the simple way or not at all. So, I take these bedtime drinks as a way of caring and pampering myself to sleep after a long and stressful day, either way, I have nothing to lose.

But wouldn’t be super awesome to lose weight with a simple sip and right on your bed without any HIIT workout (which I’m not a fan of)?

I know bedtime is when our body needs rest and also the main factor in how active we’re during the day. Your sleep routine goes to affect your metabolism, in fact, your whole health and wellbeing. When you don’t have a night of adequate sleep, it can definitely lead to weight gain or even obesity. So whatever you eat or sip before bedtime that affects your sleep pattern will also affect your metabolism for the day.

With proper sleep, you get to improve your digestive system which becomes the first step in your weight loss journey. By increasing digestive efficiency with a few dietary changes, one can effectively lose weight and boost the body’s metabolism. Also, if you feel bloated most of the time, then consumption of these drinks will help you stay at ease.

1. Chamomile Tea

It’s a natural beverage with a mild and warm flavor that helps you relieve stress, deal with anxiety and regulate your blood sugar.

It’s has a great amount of calcium, potassium, and flavonoids, with the ability to detox and cleanse the body and rid it of toxins and excess water. The true fact is that chamomile tea is a great healthy replacement for all other detox teas and caffeinated beverages.

A cup of hot chamomile tea before bedtime could help you get a restful sleep as well. That’s like solving two problems with one solution.

2. Grape Juice

Am I suggesting a fruit juice before bedtime? Yes! This is the road I’ve been told off, in the world of health. But, taking down your throat a 100ml of pure grape juice, without sugar, can aid you in losing excess fat.

Grapes are rich in antioxidant which helps the body convert its bad fat to good fat. So, whenever it’s bedtime, wear your PJ and grab a drink (not your regular grape wine though)

This is my all-time favorite bedtime drink which I accidentally discovered and surely won’t be living anytime soon. It keeps away the hunger during the day while giving my body’s metabolism a boost. Naturally, cinnamon is loaded with antioxidants, antibiotic properties and is totally healthy in every angle.

Adding cinnamon into your fruit, vegetable and spice combos can work well for you as a detox drink and also consuming this wonder potion inform of tea during the day benefits your entire body. You can combine it with honey to make it more palatable because surely it doesn’t taste too good as tea without a little honey.

I have a whole lot of ways to blend in cinnamon to my diet; either with my oats or as a spice in my veggie stew or soup.
